We went to church at Basel city. Were the minister in charge was Pastor Florence, a very Charismatic and active lady. She, confusing me for Emmanuel, asked; Would you like to sing today? and a humbly said, yes please. About service begining i ministered Above All Powers from Don Moen.
Even though the service was in Germen, Mrs Petitjean did her best to explain as much as possible.
After service, we had a drink with church people who were happy to see us.
Later in the afernoon we visited Aunty Therese and Mr. Werner. It was, is and will always be a great experience and joy in my heart to meet this lovely couple. It had been two years since i saw them for the first time, and as usual the two looked beautiful, handsome and joyful as always.
After some conversations we watch Roger federer's march against Marin Čilić at Wimbledon. Werner, as a sports man took his time to explain how tennis games are scored. Each tennis match is made up of two to three sets. To win a set, you must win at least six games. The games are scored starting at "love" (or zero) and go up to 40, but that's actually just four points. From love, the first point is 15, then 30, then 40, then game point, which wins the game.
Roger's origin as a Swiss, really gives him much support in Switzerland, and his Humble character sets him out according to Werner..

Later in the evening we travelled together to Mariastein Abbey.
Mariastein Abbey is a Benedictine monastery in Metzerlen-Mariastein in the Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland.
Mariastein, after Einsiedeln, is the second most important place of pilgrimage in Switzerland. Over the Chapel of Grace ("Gnadenkapelle") now stands a late Gothic three-aisled basilica.
